Tortuga Technologies is a software engineering, technical services and consulting company, established in 1993. Located in Townsville, Queensland, Australia we specialise in technologies based around the Unix Operating System such as Java, Databases, Networking, Security and Communications.

The founders of Tortuga Technologies are highly experienced software engineers having worked in the IT industry since 1985. This experience has been gained across a wide range of industries such as Startups, Telecommunications, Mining, Transport, News media and Government, with work carried out in both the UK and USA prior to the establishment of Tortuga Technologies in Australia.
