Ozibug can be installed and running straight out of the box in a matter of minutes, saving organisations valuable time & money on installation & administration.

Ozibug is built on open standards such as HTTP, XML and Java, requiring a suitable JVM and J2EE web container only. By default all data is stored in standard XML files, with the option to use a JDBC compliant database.

Ozibug is a thin client, web enabled application. All client access is through a web browser using an intuitive and easy to use interface. Project teams (& customers) are able to access the system from any web browser in any location, giving increased visibility to the software development process.

Ozibug is platform independent, running anywhere a JVM is available. There is no vendor lock in allowing freedom of choice for installation platform. You can even migrate from one to another ! This allows organisations to leverage their investment in existing infrastructure and expertise.

Ozibug licensing is per server and does not place any restrictions on the number of users or bugs.

The Ozibug interface can be customized to fit into the corporate desktop with your favourite links, logos and colours. The reference data can be customized to support corporate naming conventions for status & priority fields, as well as allowing the addition of custom fields to track module specific attributes. All customization can be done without the need for coding, reducing administration costs.

Ozibug has all the standard features of a bug tracking systems such as file attachments, multiple module support and email notifications. It has an extensive range of custom reporting features and formats making you management ready ! This includes text reports and release notes as well as the generation of RSS feeds from custom reports for integration into RSS aggregator tools.

Ozibug has a whole range of access control features from role based through to fine grained bug and comment based. Multiple projects, products and even multiple external customers can all be supported with appropriate access control providing secure and confidential bug tracking. All significant system events and bug changes are audited providing a complete history for traceability.

Ozibug can be configured for display in any language (or languages) through the use of language packs, as well as supporting the entry of data in any character set (including multi-byte).
